CMS named top UK SME for third year in a row
For the third year in succession, Cambridge Maintenance Services (CMS) has been named in the London Stock Exchange Group’s list of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
The list comprises the most innovative and dynamic SMEs across the UK. To be selected, CMS had to demonstrate positive growth revenue over the last three years, as well as strong sector performance.
“We believe that the featured companies have enormous potential for innovation, growth and job creation”, says Xavier Rolet KBE, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group.
Colin Wills, CEO, Cambridge Maintenance Services: “We were founded on the Cambridge Science Park – at the centre of one of the World’s most important technology clusters – in 1985, and have worked extremely hard to bring innovation to the maintenance sector ever since.”
CMS has been the inspiration behind a number of offshoot technologies, which are all now successful in their own right. These include 4D Monitoring – an affordable and practical alternative to expensive building control systems – and the Work Order Management system, the market-leading, Cloud-based FM software now used by most of the UK’s largest managing agents and their suppliers.
Colin Wills: “Innovation lies at the heart of everything we do, so we’re extremely proud to receive this accolade for the third year in a row”.
